Travel Details
Location
Rovereto is 20 km. from Arco, known by most climbers both for the many possibilities to climb the place offers, and for the Rock Master. It's not by chance that the competition of Rovereto takes place the week after the Rock Master so that the athletes can stay in the area.
By air
The nearest airport is in Verona and then you take the bus to the train station. From there you continue by train to Rovereto.
By car
If you come from the South you have to take the motorway A22 as far as Rovereto Sud and then follow the indications for the center of the town.
If you come from the North you have to pass the Brenner Pass , then motorway A22 as far as Rovereto Nord.

Vaude Outdoor Cup Invitation (Posted 25/07/2001)
From 9 to 12 August 2001 the OUTDOOR 2001 takes place in Friedrichshafen.

According to this event ART ROCK, EDELWEISS, VAUDE UND LUCKY organise the VAUDE OUTDOOR CUP speed competition (more information on page 2).

Are you interested in participating? You only have to fill in the attached application form and return it to us by 1 August 2001 at the latest. You will receive a confirmation with which you have free entrance at the Outdoor 2001 on the 11 August 2001. After the competition the huge OUTDOOR PARTY - with thousands of visitors - takes place.

Attention: The participants at the VAUDE - Outdoor Cup (speed-competition) have free entrance at the Outdoor 2001 on Saturday, 11 August 2001, by presentation of there confirmation of registration. Everybody who enrols until 1 August 2001 at Art Rock receives such a confirmation of registration. Someone who does not enrol until 1 August 2001 at Art Rock has to care for the entry at the Outdoor 2001 himself.

International Open (Posted 20/06/2001)

The Club des Sports from Val d'Isère (France) will organized an International Open of Climbing. This outdoor's competition will be on artificial structures (blocs).

This competition will concern all children (Boys and Girls) born from 1992 untill 1986.

This Open will be organized as following :
- 5 minutes per blocs
- 5 minutes for relaxation between each bloc
- 2 area's touch
- The final touch must be taken from the 2 hands during 2 seconds.
Program :
Saturday, the 7th of jully:
- From 12 AM to 6 PM : qualifications (Boys and Girls).
Sunday, the 8^th of jully :
- From 1 PM to 5 PM : Final (Boys and Girls).
- 5.30 PM : Results.

European Youth Cup to be held in Birmingham (Posted 13/06/2001)
Please find attached an invitation to participate in activities while you are at the European Youth Cup, especially for those who don't make it through to the final. We would like to invite you to attend the cultural reception after the EYC has finished at the very least where food is provided. We are making an EU application under youth exchanges, 1 is a disability breaking down barriers project and the other is a multicultural sharing expertise and improving performance project. In order to make a successful application we need partners from other countries (yourselves) to take part. Initially we are looking for expressions of interest from you and ask you to fill in and return the attached Time Tables and Appliction Forms by the by the 27 May if possible. 4TH European Youth Cup to be held in Arco - Italy (Posted 13/06/2001)
The 4th event of the EYC-series will take place in Arco, Italy from June 30th to July 1st , 2001, difficulty category only.
The two qualification rounds will take place based on sight or flash modus for female and male (ranking system), depending on the number of entrants.
The EYC is organised by the ICC in accordance with the ICC general and difficulty regulations and the European Youth Cup regulations.

    The competition is organised by the FASI - Rockmaster Arco
2. Participation / Team quotas
    Each national federation: 4 male and 4 female competitors for each category. The host federation: 6 male and 6 female
    competitors for each category. Also non-European federations can take part.

Note: All competitors must be registered by their national federations on the attached
registration form.

Those competitors for whom their belonging Federations have not applied for an
International Licenses, will NOT be allowed to compete.
Note: The age categories are the same as the ICC has fixed:
Youth A: 1985/1984
Youth B: 1986/1987
Juniors: 1983/1982

License to compete in UIAA (ICC) Events (Posted 01/06/1999)

All competitors (including youth categories competitors) competing in International Climbing competitions are requested to be in possession of an International Licence issued by the UIAA-ICC.

Those competitors for whom their belonging Federations * have not applied for an International Licenses, will NOT allowed to compete in ICC approved events.

Validity of each licence expires at the end of the solar current year.

Each year, before the first competition of the season (or before the first competition of the season in which their competitors intend to participate), every Federation shall apply for new licences or for renewal of existing ones, all in written and using this form.

Forms without the seal and the signature of the applying Federation shall not be taken into consideration.
